Zava Design is a Sydney website design agency with over a decade's experience in delivering corporate level website design, email marketing, and print solutions to clients in Australia, the US and the UK. More than just design.

For me, there was only ever going to be one response to the tsunami of December 26, 2004, and hence my journey to the small village of Kallar on the east coast of Sri Lanka shortly after this horrific event to volunteer during the clean up. Three months later I was back home in Sydney again for a friend's wedding but with the realisation that there was more to this life than the sheltered existance most of us lead. That lead me to spend two years in Kenya, the first as a volunteer for Action for Children in Conflict, the second as a founder and program manager of youth sports organisation Michezo Youth Initiative.

My next project is to set up a computer training school in Kenya, generating enough profits from paying students to provide training for disadvantaged youth plus fund the continuing work of Michezo. To this end, a percentage of profits generated by Zava Design will go directly to the computer training school project, scheduled to begin in 2010.
